Find the Best of Pahalgam, One Valley at a Time
Meadows that stretch further than your eyes can follow. Rivers that run so clear you can count the stones beneath them. Peaks that hold their snow long after the rest of the world has moved on. This is what Kashmir looks like when you step a little further from the familiar, and Pahalgam puts all of it within reach. We have put together a selection of curated day experiences, each led by a local guide who knows these valleys the way most people know their own neighbourhoods. Tell us your list of places to visit in Pahalgam, and we will handle everything else.
*Each of these experiences is chargeable.
Chandanwari
Merely a ~2 km drive from our hotel brings you to the gateway to the Amarnath pilgrimage route and one of the most dramatic getaways from Pahalgam. Snow lingers here well into summer, and the Sheshnag River runs cold and clear through the valley floor, adding a stillness to the landscape that is hard to find anywhere else. Your guide will lead you through the terrain at a comfortable pace, stopping where the views demand it.
Betaab Valley
Named after the Bollywood classic filmed right here among its meadows, this valley has long been a favourite with filmmakers and a beloved getaway from Pahalgam, about 5 km from our hotel. Lush grasslands, dense pine forests, and the sound of a stream running through it all make this one of the most visited places in Pahalgam. Your guide will bring the valley to life with stories, context, and all the best spots to take it in.
Aru Valley
Quiet, green, and unhurried, Aru Valley sits about 13 km from our hotel in Pahalgam and feels like the valley at its most unguarded. Meadows stretch out beneath a ring of peaks, the Lidder River runs cold and clear alongside the trail, and the pace of life here is a gentle reminder of why you came to Kashmir in the first place. A guided walk through Aru is one of those experiences that stays with you long after you have left.
